F. Scott Fitzerald’s The Great Gatsby was lying by the desk. Just out of curiosity, I turned to page 59.
Here’s what was in the page: “Every one suspects himself of at least one of the cardinal virtues, and this is mine: I am one of the few honest people that I have ever known.”
I believe we are all running searching for our own “cardinal virtue”.
